Hiya everyone.

Obviously i know the rules on dissasembly discussions here so won't happen.

but i have a problem.

My wifes e71-1's V key has fallen off while she was texting on it.

now i'm wondering if it would be under warranty or not? i understand wear and tear and normal use, but at 6 months old i'm worried i will be forced to pay for it.

We had complained to three about it before and were told by there repair team it was fine. despite the key feeling loose beforehand. (understandably it's me against the repairshop here) 

I'm gonna take it to a Nokia repair centre this week, (PhoneParts in Luton)  but thought i would get some input here,

The service people will make an assessment as to what they think caused the damage and if it is covered by the warranty or not.

That's what i thought, after speaking to three i was less than impressed by the "£45 to fix or nothing" attitude
