Ive just returned from USA and I must say that I'm quite dissapointed with the E66's performance on the AT&T Cingular network - The phone did not support their 3G Network and coverage on 2G was poor indoors due to the higher frequency being used
On an E51 (also European - Super signals on 3G along with facility to use Fring/VOIP over AT&T)
My question is - is there a way to get the E66 to work on the USA 3G Network and also Will the forthcoming E52 support 3G in USA as good as the E51 does
Regards

All understood about the E66 - However considering the E51 does work on 3G in both Europe and USA do you think this will also be the case on the E52 ?
If the E52 does not have this option, I will just get another E51 through my operator Meteor in Ireland

hmm on all these links it looks like it does have the compatiblity. you can always call nokia care line and ask them if indeed for sure it has it, but on paper at least it looks like it would be compatible.

So did the e51 work great with AT&T 3G? How consistent was the service? Wondering because it has the 850 band but not the 1900 that AT&T uses as well.
Thanks.

The E51 uses the EU, Asia 2100MHz band(1) with roaming support for US on 850MHz (5)
