1. You can't switch between languages when you are usig MIDP2 applications like MipdSSH, like on in my Nokia 9500/9300(i) you could switch between languages for the input by pressing the 2 shifts in same time.

2. You can't copy/paste using ctrl+c ctrl+v as in Nokia 9500/9300(i)

3. The browser doesn't have shortcuts like Opera 8.5 for Eseries.

4. The browser doesn't have the mouse pointer moves as in Nokia 9500/9300(i).

5. Phone always say memorey is full when you open some browser windows.

6. I get bug says all wlan connections in use please close some of them and try again.

but the e70 is a series 60 phone, the communicators are series 80.

the different series imply slightly different usability unfortunately :smileysad:

Copy/Paste works on the E61 using ctrl-c/v - I thought the E70 was pretty similar?

Copy past with my E70 is no problem: in open position it's ctl x/v/c etc. Even with the closed position it works with a combination of keeping the the marker button pressed and working with the joy stick.

E70 Realplayer not streaming with WLan as default access point!

Hello,

Here is another bug with RealPlayer in E70.

When I try to hear the live radio in BBC via RealPlayer

RP says it can't connect to it, I'm using the WLAN as the default access point.

Also there are other reports about RealPlayer in E61 and E60 not streaming with WLan as default access point!

Thank you for the tips, it worked :smileyhappy:

But I wish we could copy/paste from sites we visit via the Nokia built browser

I hope this will be sorted in the next FM update via the Nokia Software Updater :smileywink:

Correction, mouse pointer is there! :smileyhappy:

Sorry that was on the WAP browser, because I pressed 0 to launch it, and I thought it launches the Web services, and not the WAP services.

Re: Things and bugs I didn't like in E70

I made a backup of my phone to a memory card and even tested that it restored successfully before going to software update. After software update, the restore process of a 14 MB backup takes only about two seconds and nothing is restored. I have another backup of the phone on another memory card but it doesn't help either.

I think user awesome has similar problem with restoring backups.

I also see this "Out of Memory" message on my Nokia E70. what is the reason for that? I just installed 2GB miniSD card and do not have any additional applications installed. So seems like some bug to me.

Anyone know about this issue?

Re: E70

Friends,

Please let forum members tell the problems they are facing.

If you have a technical point/answer - please share it with everyone. If not - just watch and let others share their points and experiences.

I do not see any need for ANYONE telling anyone to not write about problems on the phone. Every phone counts. And mine counts the most to me.

Lighten up,

:smileyhappy:

E70 doesn't hang up always when you call switched off phone.

Hello E70 users,

When I call a phone which is switched off, I can't hang up, the phone shows "disconnect" but it stays like this 20 secs or so.

Then I can make another call, and I redial the number and it's switched off, I'll get the same.

Do you face such problem E70 users?

My phone is SIM free phone and has the latest firmware, and this issue is there even before the upgrade when I was using .06 firmware.
