Hi , Today I read on Nokia website , symbian belle is available for Nokia E6, is that correct? has anyone upgrade symbian anna to symbian belle

NOKIA E6 unlocked unbranded , product code 059H6F1 BELLE not availaible yet  8 feb 2012 , i will wait til and of the week , software 021....... old one i cannot update to any of 022..... or 025......

I like you guys sometimes think this product has been abandoned and forgotten about by Nokia by virtue of the total lack of bug fixes and updates from day one.

It might be worth tagging a post onto this thread just to let it be known there are a few of us around. It appears that staff members at Nokia are monitoring this thread.

i'm another unfortunate Nokia E6 user my product code is different than yours and yet again I have no update to Belle! My code is 0588692 and my software version is still stuck with the 025.007.C02.01 my friend has a NOkia C6-01 and had the update but for me both Nokia Suite (3.3.86 Version installed) and the OTE method keep on saying no update!! **bleep** is wrong with Nokia? If I keep on seeing this message by the end of the coming I swear I'm going for Samsung and unsubscribing/ufriending/unliking/unfollowing every piece of Nokia **bleep**!

Yep, I have Sim-Free E6 too with product code 059H6F1 and no updates available. Really looking forward.

Better not to upgrade E6 to belle, I had upgraded  it to Belle, Belle is good for Big Screen like N8 and E7 it is not good for E6, In one screen you can create only 8 shortcut, where as in anna in i thhnik it was more that 12.

I am not happy with Belle on my E6, offcourse my phone become faster, apart from that you will get less apps, like fring is not available, my son's favourate Frunit ninza is not available.

therefore final conclusion :  do not go for upgrade to Belle on E6.

I will request nokia to release some new FW for Nokia E6, why because if it is a bussiness phone, at least provide -email, calender and clock in one home screen, right now which is not possible.

Hello Nokia,

Is there any separate belle software for Nokia E6 is going to release in future, I think current belle is not suitable for Nokia E6, because of small screen. Indeed it is nice software for N8 and e6 and other big screen model.

I would be deligheted if any future diff Belle release for Nokia E6.

I had a look just now and  059H6F1 is there, marked as "Waiting for approval"  - but it's for a C6-01!

Updated my E6 yesterday here in India. Everything seems to be working perfectly. Blows Anna out of the water!

Regarding your concern about screen size Arun, I don't see any problems in Belle because of the small screen size. About 8 hours of constant use so far and no problems yet..

It's been like this for two days already.

Nokia 500 got their update already and we are still waiting..

Ummm.... 'waiting for approval'. By WHO? We're talking about SIM-free devices and Nokia's own small print refers to this phrase meaning that the update has been submitted to network operators for approval.

Do the networks really need to stick their oar in here...? I thought the of buying SIM free was to be independent of any one operator?
