I would really like to see full screen caller id for the e71 and some of the other things available in FP2.

I also would not mind paying a few bucks for a FP2 firmware update to the e71, but in reality since the E71x has FP2 it's just lame that they are not releasing a FP2 update for the E71.

maybe they will eventually. When I had a N80, and they released the N80i (was it called that? the Internet version anyway) they later released the firmware for install on all N80s.

I would also like to see this features but... I am very disappointed that symbian phones doesn't have same features as other "normal" Nokia phones Since 3650 I'm waiting for this to change but fullscreen caller and other standard app appears to be very, very hard to include into symbian phone

...and I woulid also like to see usb full speed on my e71

They have a full feature pack 2 firmware for the e71x that without a doubt they could release on the standard E71 and that would give the full screen caller ID etc.

FP2 is actually less buggy than FP 1 in my opinion.

Yes it would be nice to have USB 2.0, but that's not a deal breaker, If i need to transfer a bunch of data I just pull out the MicroSD and put it in a adapter and then in a card reader, so that's not a big deal.

Hopefully now that the E71x is out they will release a more substancial firmware update.

Come on Nokia, as Symbian will be an open system, just let your user satisfied with your great services.

I have the Nokia E71x.. I had the E71 unlocked... The E71X i have had for two days. I am RUNNING to the AT&T store to return this thing. I don't like FP2 at all.. lots of downgrades in my opinion.

 The Home screen is very limited.. Nokia allows for more space but doesn't allow Email msgs to show up in the  homescreen!.. Yes I can put an email icon shortcut, but when a message comes in it is a process just to see who or what it is having to go to the email app. This is a HUGE downgrade on the E71X.

Tons of Bloatware, no front facing camera, cannot find a contact from the home screen! what? yup.... can't type MOM and come up with mom, to dial.. nothing happens, you can only dial digits from the homescreen.

 No FM radio on the E71X, no slip case comes with the X version, no Nokia Maps.. included, (can download),
