Hello,

 

My E63's taking ages to send an email: I'm using my gmail account. Gmail works fine direct, as does checking emails and updating the inbox: it's only sending that seems to be a problem. It's just hanging and hanging. Several times it tried to "defer sending": I went back into drafts and turned the option to "send immediately" but it's still hanging.

 

Please help. Do you think it's a virus?

I think this might be a issue with your email settings. Try to google settings for gmail.

 

I have: Outging servername: smtp.gmail.com, username (youradress@gmail.com, password:XXXXX, use SSL (on), approval: your password XXXXXX, port:587
