Are you sure the PSK you are providing is correct, even the cAsE matters?

Check it, if you are not sure about the PSK. It will be printed on the Modem(most probably).

If it is still not working, then

1. Delete all the Internet destinations set in your device(except your mobile operator's 'packet data' destination) here:

 "Menu/Cntrl Panel/Settings/Connectivity/Destinations"

2. Restart your phone and then follow the WLAN wizard as guided in my earlier post.

Hopefully this should work.

If this worked please let me know, if unfortunately it didn't, let me find out another solution or way for you.

Regards,

Have you tried the steps I've written in my earlier post?

If it didn't worked after going through those steps too, then try connecting with some other networks(at friend's place or at someone's house whom you know)... If it don't work for other networks... then I'm sorry to say, you need to take your phone to Nokia Care point.

Hopefully they will fix this problem.

Good luck!

Obviously there's something wrong with the key you offer. Turn off  WPA 2 only mode and don't use special characters. Turn off predictif texting. Check MAC filtering.

Re: Problem to connect to home wireless with Nokia E72

I tried the steps which you said about it, but still the same, the wireless is working in my friends house without password, but at home it does not because of the key password. The password contains numbers, words, and some symbol which are in the keyboard from pressing the shift key.

I am sure that the problem is with the set-up of the wireless connection in the phone, but I don't know where the problem is exactly.

Change router WPA passphrase into something easier. Do not use special characters like @«»¿ or spaces.

The password includes ? and @, but I dont think this is the reason, because my sister got E71 and when she entered the password it is working fine with her.

Re: Problem to connect to home wireless with Nokia E72

Final Solution from my side friend:

1) Go to Menu>Ctrl. panel>Settings>Connection>Destinations>Access point

now select 'Yes'(it says "Searching for available access points", then the Available access points will be shown as:

Wireless LAN

with the number of networks available. Select it then select your house network, when the WEP key for WLAN is asked provide it.

If it accepts then its fine.

Else the possible problem will be with your network key itself or the phone(very rarely)

2) Go to Nokia Care point for the fix. I hope you don't have to.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry about  saying the Final solution, I don't know about any other way.

Re: Problem to connect to home wireless with Nokia E72

thank you for your help, the problem is solved, also, I thank everyone who tried to help me.

The only thing I would like to say that I didn't use WEP Key, because the key which I have contains 12 characters. I used WPA/WPA2, but I switched the WPA2 off.

Re: Problem setting up Lotus Traveler Eamil in Nokia E71

Hi Mate,

I have followed how you have helped other forum members and thought you could be of help to me too. How can I set up Lotus Traveler Email on my Nokia E71? I am not sure what to fill in on the fields like User ID, password, and server. Do I use my normal email address on the User ID field or is there another one am required to use? If yes, which one is that? Which password should I use? What about the server? Should I use the server of our internet provider or my email account provider or Lotus traveler server? I will be most grateful for your help. You are blessed.

Regards

Julius

Re: Problem to connect to home wireless with Nokia E72

Hey All

I Have a Nokia E72 which I shipped from US with the help of (http://www.viaddress.com) The Global Leader in Package Forwarding.

Well My E72 is working very fine . I cant beleive that you are facing problem in connecting to gome wireless .

I guess there is any issue in your home wireless .

Or You must reset the settings of your E72 wireless and then try connecting again.

Thanks and good luck
