Re: Poll on acceptance of the E90

Agreed.

I charge normally from the wall outlet but if my laptop is near by, then I charge from there. It does drain the battery of the laptop to charge though.

Re: Poll on acceptance of the E90

So, is it actually better to charge the phone off the wall socket always?

NO. Just charge it any way you want. No problems at all.

If charger from USB data cable is done Ok, then it's same as charging with any other charger. I just don't see charging via data cable useful or needed :smileysad: If I don't have wall outlet, I don't want to drain laptop battery for that. Again if there is outlet, I can charge mobile from outlet :smileywink:

+ I dont use data cable so much anyway. Sync etc small transfer are managed within minutes, I prefer BT for that.

If I would use internet connection in laptop via mobile, then I could have other opinion. But again if outlet available, mobile can be via BT and charging from outlet. Or I can connect USB charger and still use BT connection for data.

Again, if charging is via data cable, I can't really choose do I charge or not. Then I use power via USB, wanted or not.

So it's a feature, but is is really needed? That's up to everyone to decide.

I find it pretty useful to charge via USB - it's one less charger plug to carry around when travelling.

Seems pretty easy to use the Tytn to connect the laptop to the internet
