Nokia e71X - Memory Low Error

My wife got a new e71X and and after a couple of weeks of operation received the following message "Memory Low. Unable to Retrieve Multimedia Message. Close some applications first."  She has rebooted and also loaded the latest updates.  She has also checked to see what applications are running in the background, and there are none.  Does anyone know what is causing this, or how to fix it?

you might want to consider, if you use a memory card to change the storage for messages 

 

messaging - options- settings- other ( here is where you would select what memory to use and how many messages you want to retain on the phone. i have it set to 800 and no issues)

 

also clean the web browser cache. if there are apps installed on the c memory, i suggest you move those also to a memory card as to free up that memory as much as possible.

 

c - phone memory plus the amount of RAM you have on the device, make it useable and make it go faster.

Where do I find messaging? I am having same issue and put new memory card in that I havent used yet and still get memory low pop up, I am not technology savy with a cell phone, where do I find all this stuff?
