Nokia e7-00 hangs or unresponsive when we connect usb to the computer

When i Connect the Data cable to the computer , the nokia e7-00 becomes unresponsive or hangs and nothing can be done. Is there a specific setting to be done or is it a issue

Try on another computer. Seems electrical interference by a poor usb port on the pc.

 

I have a old notebook showing this behaviour, only when plugged (not when running from batteries)
