Nokia E72 sms bug??

When i'm writing a message and i enter an apostrophe ' ,it counts as 100 (one hundred) characters!!

Also,is that a countdown bug only or I'm going to see increased charges to?

its not a countdown bug
have a read here it might be useful

can you please point out the part of the article?

it is huge and it doesn't contain the word apostrophe in it!!
