Finally our IT department discovered how to fix the problem with the encryption. First I had to uninstall completely the email program that was using the encryption. Then upgrade the phone and ovi to the last version. Reinstall back the email program and Bingo.
Phone is encrypted and everything else functions again: Ovi maps, ovi store....

we have "good mobile messaging" and it required phone memory encryption.
