I have problem with my Nokia E66 mobile phone. It is not showing name of person in message inbox, it shows only numbers. When I switch off the hand set & restart it, it displays the name for 4 to 5 hours, after that again it displays only number. Hence after every 4 to 5 hrs I have to switch off my phone. Please help. Hi,

have you checked if the contact is defined twice in the Contacts application? the same phone # is defined for 2 or more contacts. the phone # in contacts application is in different format than the # received in the incoming call. the phone number might have been stored in local format while the incoming call is in international format. if it still doesn't work try to update your software remember to backup before updating..

I have updated handset with Nokia Software updater then also same problem is happening. It is displaying only numbers not name.

I also met the same problem on E71, it is due to I difined the same number on two item in the contacts, i.e, I defined the number duplicately as the home cell phone number. you could try to find it out. refer to E66 manual for how to operate the contacts.
