Nokia E60 - Wired enhancement logo

Hello All,

Thanks in advance. Cannot hear the audio through speakers, as the headset logo is on. Cannot seem to remove the headset logo from the main screen. Another issue is that when I try to connect to a bluetooth headset, a message pops saying "disconnect wired enhancement first." The headset is connected at all. The phone is a Nokia E60. Please reply as soon as possible.

Re: Nokia E60 - Wired enhancement logo

Try rebooting your phone. if this does not work, please try inserting a weired headset first and the remove it. Check if this solves your problem for the suspicious weired headphone logo from the Home screen.

IF this does not work, take a complete backup of your contacts, messages, data, memeory card (practically all of them, u feel may be needed later) and try hard resetting your phone. This would DELETE ALL EXISTING DATA on your phone
and reset it to the FATCORY SETTINGS

If second soln too does not work, I fear the headphone socket/connection point might be faulty, which is causing the phone to assume that there is a weired headset connected to it. in such case u may need to visit a Nokia Care .

All the best :smileyhappy: Also please let all know if you find any alternative

Re: Nokia E60 - Wired enhancement logo

Thanks for the solutions. I tried the first one. The result is the same. The logo is still present. I tried rebooting the phone, same result.

I want to do the hard reboot. Please advice me how to proceed with the process. I have backed up all the data and removed the memory card. Again thanks in advance.

Re: Nokia E60 - Wired enhancement logo

just press below or ur dialpad

*#7370#      i.e. the buttons in the sequential manner:    <star><hash><7><3><7><0><hash>

It would ask for the phone security code. if you have not yet changed it ever, then the default key , 12345 should work. If you have changed your phone security code, enter the one which you had set. Your phone will be automatically restarted

MAKE SURE U HAVE NOT MISSED  TO BACKUP ANYTHING IMPORTANT. this will erase eavry bit of ur phone and leave the base installation as it came when u purchased it from Nokia.
