Does anyone know if the keymat and navikey can be purchased from nokia or other suppliers. My e6-00 is not in the country of origin and I have no warranty coverage localy in the USA. So I rather just buy it and replace it myself. I have replace screens and many other componets on 5800, E72, and many more devices... So I am not afraid to take the phone apart...
Thanks!!!

Incredible!! I've just came from a Nokia Care (El Corte Ingles, Seville, Spain) and they say that the phone has no problem at all, and in any case, is a software issue, to save battery!! I can believe how unprepared they are!! I have sent an email to Nokia Spain asking for repair. Waiting for the answer

I contacted Nokia Greece and they prompt me to go to the nearest Nokia Store in order to replace the keymat. The device is under 2-year warranty so the replacement is free of charge.I have already handed in the device. The man on the Nokia store told me that it will be ready in 8-10 working days.

I was a E71 user. Very frustrated with this notification light issue. Should contact Nokia Care.
Can anybody say if I have to return this to the country I purchased the phone? Wouldn't any Nokia Care in South Asia do ?

Do I have to send my phone to Singapore where I purchased it? Wouldn't it be enough to send it to the local Nokia Care in Sri Lanka?
Thanks

Nokia Care here in the Philippines replaced my keymat.
It took me 3 weeks for the keymat to be replaced. Now I'm a happy camper with my E6.
It got a nice bright notification light now.
