Re: NOKIA E7 shipping heads up

Excellent, because my N8 is starting to act up. As of 2 days ago it drains the battery in less than 12 hours when not used at all. If I'm going to have to make a reset and redo all settings I might as well do it on the E7 I preordered.

Re: NOKIA E7 shipping heads up

Arrrrggghhhh! I had it preordered and I would have had it by now if Nokia hadn't Scr3wed up my order. Now it's being shipped today and I'll have it tomorrow. Oooooooohhh, poor me. Now I have to put up with my N8 for another day. :smileywink:

Are you in the USA or Europe!?

I've been looking for a spot I can pre-order this phone at all this week...no one has a good enough ETA for me though. Everyone is telling me end of Feb/March...

I would pay ANY amount of money for this thing to be shipped to me ASAP!

Re: NOKIA E7 shipping heads up

Now that Nokia have got into bed with Microsoft I will not be buying any more Nokia phones. I cannot get the latest update for the N8 and I would suggest that Nokia have abandoned Symbian devices as far as updates are concerned. I think Nokia just kicked an own goal by announcing at the beginning of the week that the E7 is shipping and at the end of the week that their smartphones are to be powered by Windows 7. I would suggest that people will now decide not to buy the E7 as there will be big questions over support.

Re: NOKIA E7 shipping heads up

I think that's a load of cr*p. Why would Nokia abandon the update work for N8 and E7 etc? It will be at least a year before Nokia can deliver a WP7 device. When they finally do, I might replace my E7 with one. Until then the E7 is by me the best phone ever. Oh, and I also have an iPhone 4 which is also the best phone ever, but in a different category. I actually believe Nokia when they say that they are going to keep making updates for Symbian.
