Hi, I have a nokia E66. I recently bought a N series and stopped using it for like two weeks. when i went to back to using it, it went offline and has refused to accept my sim card. anytime i try to change the profil from offline to general it sats insert sim card. i have also reset to factory settings with no success. any one who can assist?

Ajaydavidson, thanks for your reply. I put in  a new simcard which was rejected. then I put the old line i used with the phone previously and it still did not pick. i then used a simcard of a different network which has not worked either.

I doubt the sim contacts are dirty. I wonder if the card could be loose? I once read a tip about inserting a thin piece of paper with the sim card, obviously on the non-contacts side, to keep the connection tight. It's worth a try...
