Hi

I have this strange problem with my Nokia E5.

It keeps popping up the "Select WLAN Network" dialogue every 2-3 seconds... it is very annoying...

I have disabled WLAN in every sense... I have also changed my Packet data connectivity to "When Needed"

Please suggest!

same problem in my phone, ihave reset my device but same problem occurs.

If you go to Menu > Ctrl. panel > Settings > Connection > Destinations > Internet - is your WLAN access point = Priority 1? but it may  work

you need to perform a master reset on your phone since the normal reset wont do it. but be mindful that when you do master reset, it will delete all of the contents of your phone memory so backup your data first on the comp and use ovi suite, visit these website for assistance on backup https://www.nokia.co.uk/ovisuite and click on how to. then once the backup is finish, dial these code on your phone *#7370# and lock code is 12345. it will get rid off that error message and then restore your backup file again from the ovi suite.

check the nokia's facebook app , it has a "social phonebook" which intends to update your contacts status and user image automatically , and it always ask for connection even if you did set all default connection to "always ask"
