How can you remove 'sent from my Nokia' signature other than manually deleting it?

What is the model of your device?

You may try this: Go to messaging  > Options > Emails > Select mailbox > Edit > User settings > Include signature, set to no.

My apologies. I thought the software was the same/similar. I should have also added Nokia Messaging rather than just messaging!

e63 is the model.

 I do not have email setup on my handset, I am using Nokia Messaging so your suggestion is not applicable.

Hi,

Try this:

1. Open your Nokia Messaging app.
2. Click on Settings
3. After General, What to Sync and When to Sync you'll see your email account (Hotmail, Yahoo, whatever)
4. Click on your email account
5. Scroll down till you see 'Include Signature' and select 'No'

I am not using messaging from the handset, I am using http://email.nokia.com to set-up my email and so from the handset as I do not have any email accounts defined, I cannot turn off signatures.

I know this is an old thread and I am sorry for bumping it but my question does apply to the comments in this thread.

I just got my e63 the day before yesterday and I have tried to remove the 'sent from my Nokia phone' signature a bunch of times by following the instructions listed above however whilst I am able to remove it in the box on the screen when I go back out of the settings screen it does not appear to save and always comes back like a bad smell lol is there any way to save it in there so it stays gone?
