Light blinking around the scroll key on E71x

I have a light that occasionally blinks around the scroll key (navi-key).  I cannot find anything in the manual that tells me why it does this.  I have not found any link between the blinking light and an application.  Does anyone have any idea what this is?  Thanks in advanced.

It's your Breathing Light. You'll find it at Settings>General>Personalisation>Notification Lights
