Just received my E72. Any way to turn off USB-Charging?

Hello all, just replaced my E71 with a brand spanking NEW E72.  :-))    I was wondering if there is a way to disable the automatic mini-USB charging.  Currently using my old spare E71 BP-4L battery, but i want to do 10 full cycles on the new battery that i received with the E72.   Help appreciated.    And btw, how do i add a signature here?  Any additional cool E72 also appreciated.   :-)

My Nokia history: 6340, 6200, 5500, 6300, E61i, E51, E71, N79, N97 and finally E72-2.

(bought the N97, tried it for 2 days and sold immediately. I was Very disappointed with this device, NOKIA ! ) Proud Nokia shareholder.

Nokia Care Point said it can't be disabled.

that is, a REALLY BAD design if it can not disabled. most time I don't want to charging battery, when I use loptop and connected with E72. it drawn PC's power very soon.   .......

I'm not sure if this works but just as an idea; the USB has 4 pins (+5VDC, data +, data - and GND), if you cut the +5VCD cable no current should go to the phone. It might however bee that the pin is needed to do a handshake or something...
