How to disable Lync ?

After installing the Microsoft Apps I got Lync which I do not need or want. It seems by default it launches when phone is turned on. I tried disabling that from within the Settings in Lync, but it seems to require signing in in order to accept the change, since it reverts back if I just exit with Cancel. Is there a way to stop this app draining my battery apart from uninstalling it ?

Re: How to disable Lync ?

i also had the same problem. what i did is downloaded and installed App Stop from Nokia Store (free). it is really a very convenient application since you can choose to stop any of unwanted running applications (without uninstalling them) not only Lync.

Re: How to disable Lync ?

Just uninstall Lync from the menu/application manager. All other MS applications will remain intact.

Re: How to disable Lync ?

That's all I did, just deleted Lync like any other app, doubt I'd ever use it ? But the Exchange mail and notes are great IMHO, overall, the E7 with Belle and Microsoft Apps is great !!
