How to connect normal VPN dial up network on E72

 Hi

I have an E72 and a normal VPN service account.

Could anyone teach me how to use the normal VPN service on E72, like on computer, just input username and password, then connected

I know there is a nokia VPN software, but it seems over complicated, I mean, certification etc.

Thank you in advance.

Cheers

Video Tutorial. How to set up and use PPTP VPN on S60 3rd or 5th phone.

The last part of this video is showing how to set up VPN on computer, you don't need this part at all as it is completely unrelated to using VPN on the phone.

You may test it for yourself, Fully functional 14-day Trail version is available for download here: SymVPN.

Yes, you are right, Nokia has own VPN solution, it is IPSec VPN client, it is called Nokia Mobile VPN. However, it seems that you are talking about another VPN protocol - PPTP VPN.

It sounds like a PPTP VPN because with IPSec VPN not everything is that easy.
