CameraFX looks interesting as the E71 really needs a decent camera.
But I can't install - just says Expired Certificate.
I've heard that this certificate issue is a pain for developers, but that I can switch the requirement off - but can't remember how to do this.
Anyone help?

go to menu then installations then to application manager then to setting then in software installation feildselect all. u wouldnt be asked for certificate verfication , for any installations.
tell if that worked..

There is an application called CameraFX that allows you to take photos with the front camer on your e71. It does a lot of other cool stuff too.
Great tip, pianarchist.
It appears CameraFX cannot do a few of the things that the native camera can, on my Nokia E7. There's no T-key focus and no way to use the Nokia Location Tagger, with CameraFX.
That said, it seems to me, in the little bit of tinkering I've been doing, that the results from CameraFX can be somewhat better than those using the native Nokia Camera app. That is, under certain light conditions and on my E71 (which, as most people would probably agree, doesn't have the best camera).
