How exactly does Voip sipphone internet calls work on E90?

Hi all, I've recently installed Gizmo Voip sipphone to my E90 to engage in internet calling, I was told to first purchase credit & calls are said to be cheap.

I would like to know which is a better option, with connection to WiFi or GPRS? Does the other party also needs to have the same services on their phones? Can I call both landlines & mobile network phones?

I am reluctant to try because of my lack of information, thanks:manvery-happy in advance for your advice.:manwink:
