How do you stop USB connection from recharging the phone(for E72)

Just chraged it yesterday and I don't want frequent auto recharging via USB connection while I connect to PC suite ruins the battery for me as repeated charge and discharge would ruin Li-Ion battery....so how do you disable recharging via USB while connecting to the PC?

Li-Ion batteries do not develop memory effect like NiCad and are not harmed by long term connection. Intelligent charging techniques have to be used with Li-Ion, so when the battery is at full capacity, the charger circuits go into a low current pulse mode, to maintain the charge. It won't do any harm to leave it connected.

Thanks so it won't degrade the battery in the long term by repeated charge and discharge via USB when using PC suite

I have been searching for this matter. I still worry about the life time of the battery

It is better if the battery does not charge when conncent to the PC but how to set the option ?
