Has any e52-user here experience with SPB TV?

Hi pals!

The program - I downloaded it from Ovi Store - asks me to only accept, if I read, understood and accept the whole rules at the beginning.

This makes me a little bit nervous, because it seems, that this service is not free.

Until now I've only installed it - nothing accepted, nothing further tried.

Best regards,

Schlaumy

Many apps ask you to accept terms and conditions, it is nothing unusual. The terms cover them in case someone runs up a massive data bill whilst using the app. The app maker cannot take any money from you without your permission, but in the case of this app it is free.

The app itself is free but the data you use whilst running the app is your responsibility to monitor and pay for if you don't have a data tariff.

Hi there!

It works! Great! But I think, one should use that tool only with WLAN connection - with 308kbps the Download while watching TV can be outrageous high.

I only don't understand, why the Austrian TV channels "ORF1" and "ORF2" are not available to me - I friend of mine has a similar TV application, but running with another provider and seemingly with a contract - he has those two channels.

How can I define my own channels? Didn't find any information on that.

Have a nice day,

Schlaumy

I don't think you can define custom channels, i'm pretty sure it's limited to what SPB give you.

Personally i've never liked the app as the UK content is very poor IMO.
