Hi
When I try to get the upgrade using:
menu > office > quickoffice > updates and upgrades >offers and promotions (free downloads)
it connects to the internet and tries to create a catalogue and then comes back
"Catalogue update failed"
Any ideas why?

Hi there, I also took up the upgrade offer from Quickoffice, I think there is significant improvements from the previous version my favorite was especially the the dictionary spellchecker & the general appearance of the app. I would have like it more if they have included the Abode PDF reader Le 2.5 as well, my E90 communicator lack some many essential everyday software like a practical dictionary etc......it's a damn shame it lag behind other Eseries & even Nseries handsets in the software department, what a pitty.

Hi
I tried to update via quickmanager. It shows an error "Catalog update failed, try again". Any idea how to solve this? Or is there any other to download update?

I tried updating through the Quickoffice website and was told I wasn't eligible for an upgrade.

Hi all, I was able to download Quickoffice Premium 6 directly from their update & upgrade option & process smoothly, if in case this option doesn't work you can always go to Nokia support & software download site to get latest free SW. On some occasions I experience download catalog failed as well & I would disconnect internet connection & to reconnect again, it is just a temporary log on problem.

Hallo,
I had the "Catalog update failed, try again". message also a couple of times. After retrying a few days later everything went smoothly. Maybe something to do with packages int he different languages available at different times.

I sent a support ticket through the Quickoffice website. They responded within 48 hours with a direct link that installed correctly on my phone.
Thumbs up for some great customer service!

Hi all,
Just to confirm that I had the same issue. Still, after a couple of hours I was able to successfully download and install the application. So it seems itis a network related problem or there are some pick intervals when the server are too busy to respond.
In conclusion, do not panic and kee trying.
Regards,
Marius

But now, thumbs down for Quickoffice after being told that the E71X is not eligible for the free update.
So now, after installing the update, I have to pay $19 to buy the unlock code. ![]()

Quickoffice catalogue does not get updated over WAP connections. The only way is to contact quickoffice by raising a ticket on their site. (Path is Quickoffice.com - Support - Contact Quickoffice Techincal Support Link) Registration is required for raising a ticket. They will send across the link by email using which you can download the .sis file to PC and transfer it to mobile via PC Suite.
This worked great for me - and the response was the fastest I've ever had from a Support group - 7 minutes!!!

Hello!
I just bought an E63. I bought this phone bec it said that it comes with a free Quickoffice. When I tried to access it it asks me to 'register' with a valid 'mail address'. What does this mean? How do I get to use the Quick office?
Thanks!
