Format e71

I want to erase all my personal data on my straight talk e71.  i ported my number to a different carrier and when i try to put *#7370# in I press send and it says can't do this no network connection.  I'm assuming my sim is no longer valid.  I did a factory reset, but all my info is still there. Is there anyway else to format this phone?

Hey eric702

Welcome to the community and thanks for your comment.

Could you try a hard reset, if the problem persist then take it to a care point.

Please note that you would have to make a backup of your data before performing this action.

Also make sure that you don't have any active Wireless connection.

Don't hesitate to contact us for further assistance. I hope this answer your question.

Your understanding is greatly appreciated on the issue concerned.

Kind regards
Carl

@eric702

Whilst device is off hold down Green (call), 3 & * keys whilst powering on until Nokia "Shaking hands" logo appears.

If I've helped in any way, a click upon the white star at bottom right of screen would always be appreciated.

However if my answer also solves your problem clickingbelow it will benefit other users!
