Hi,
I am interested in purchasing the E75. I'd like to know if it has both Japanese and Chinese support? I saw the official Nokia release of E75 in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Not sure in Japan yet. But I travel all 3 places often, and need a phone that support English, Japanese and Chinese.
I also check the user guide of Nokia. There is no mention about language support.
Would some existing E75 users give me some idea? Thanks in advance.

Hi tin008, I am in HK & the E75 here only supports English, Traditional & Simplify Chinese languages, I suppose you can get a combination of any 3 language pack. But I don't think it's possible to have chinese & Janpanese in the same language pack unless you have it added at a Nokia service centre yourself would be a optional, you can then choose your own combination at a fee.
But at anytime in the future if you decide to upgrade your firmware your additional language pack will disappear warned, this has happened to me personally.![]()

I know there's no Nokia rep here but where else can this complaint go to. In the age of globalization Nokia should make language packs freely available. For once, take a note from Windows XP which already supports Unicode fonts. Surely Symbian OS can handle the same?
As for now, you need to fork out mullah for this "right". As the situation stands now, may God help you if you bought a phone in HK with Trad Chinese and flew back to Iceland and had to flash it.

Personally I've never tried flashing the fw overseas. Too much pain for its own good. I've read enough (from this forum and google) that the local NCC will flash yours to their own regional languages - they simply don't have other regions' fw.
Why don't you wait till you have returned to HK to flash...
