E73 Mode. Texting: no vibrations or noise

I have my phone on silent a lot and just recently I noticed it is not making any vibrations. I turned phone off, doesnt work. Pulled battery, doesnt work. Turned it to loud and I get no sound. It does however still blink (thank god).

I dont know how it got like this but I want to fix it immediately. Please help!

Re: E73 Mode. Texting: no vibrations or noise

I looked around and saw that deleting texts might help. Well it didnt. I really dont want to hard reset my phone because I dont want to lose everything. Is there any other way?

Re: E73 Mode. Texting: no vibrations or noise

I assume you've experimented with different Profile settings in Control Panels -> Profiles ?  The "Silent" profile means just that: all noises are off.  If you want it to vibrate, the "Pager" profile has "Vibrating alert" enabled by default.  You can customize any of the default Profiles (including an option for keypad beeps) and also an option to make your own Profile (a better idea?) and use that instead.

Or do you think you've found a bug?

Hope that helps!
