How can I stop my E72 prompting for internet or wifi ?

Set "show WLAN availability" to never. In the browser goto settings and set "accesspoint" to always ask.

I did what you said and at first I thought it was a success, however I am still occasionally getting a pop up that says ' select connection'  ...............search for WLAN  or internet. I NEVER want it to access , how can I stop these pop ups?

Maybe there is another prog that wants to use internet, like Nokia Messaging, Mail for Exchange, Facebook, etc... Find it and kill it.

well as far as I can tell there are no open programmes that require internet?  I never had this problem on my E71 and if every time i look at this E72 I have that annoying pop up asking me to 'select connection'  there will be a relatively new E72 up for sale. I do not seem to have done anything different on this phone, so why the hell cant I prevent this happening?

Where do I finde the "show WLAN availability"? Could you guide me? For example: Menu --> programs --->

Hi folks 

Nokia e72 continuously prompting to select wifi or internet. I changes the settings of wLAN to never but the problem remains unchanged.. Does anybody have the solution please
