Hello,

Yesterday got my new E72 but discovered that "Show open apps."  command is not working either from menu or long-pressing Home key. Should I return the phone to the shop or wait for firmware update? I've got Software verson 022.007, Software version date 10-Dec-2009 and Custom version 022.007.C00.01 (10-Dec-2009), Language set 23.01 and Model E72-1.  Anyone has same experiences? Any help appreciated.

Whitch apps were running when you hit the home key for a few seconds?

I tried to open several applications (i.e.Messaging, Email, quickoffice, calendar) and then press home key for several seconds. No response. Key itself works - brief click sends me to Menu screen. I tried also call application list from Menu window, for example, by selecting "Options->Show open apps." menu option. No result, no list. I seems to me as some kind of firmware bug but I did not find any similar problems in Inet.

You can reset the phone to it's default. Dial *#7780# 12345 restore factory settings, keep data.If the reset doesn't help I advise you to bring your E72 in and ask for a new one.

Hey I have the same problem with my Nokia 5730XM. That's even weirder because that bug came out of nowhere after I got my phone to the Nokia Care. Even reinstalling firmware with NSU didn't work for me. Any ideas?
