 On some screens, some of the letters are missing on headings eg text messa rather than text message - there seems little space for the remaining letters.  Also sometimes it takes a couple of seconds for the full word to appear eg on the personalisation page, it first appears as personalisa and then the final letters appear.  Other than that phone is good so far.

Anyway..Nokia software technicians.. if you have somesparetime (I don't think) between fixing more "serious" bugs, take note of this ...aesthetic one ...too...

Thanks - just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to get any worse - only had the phone for 3 days and was thinking of returning it.

It also happens on 023.002 firmware; however, it only happend on long letter.  I think it is one of E72 "feature" since Nokia doesn't fix it on the new firmware.

Yes noticed it too when first bought it and thought about going abck to the shop and ask about it...

For a flagship phone the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. The most annoying parts are the light leakages.

At least the latest firmware 023.002 fixes the new contact one touch feature(when pressed for long)

Aside from couple freezes I have no big problems with the old fw though.

Quickoffice updated, Ovi maps updated and now new firmware I'm happier now than when first bought the phone but there's no justification for poor build quality for a flagship mobile set.
