Check how much free memory do you have on C: Try to install an app that show you how much free RAM do you have (if you have a lot of crapy apps with ads, dont be surprised that you run out of RAM, or if you have games). Reinstall firmware and be very carefull what you install after that.

I have been using E71 almost 3 years. Even though it was giving trouble initially it got stabilized later.

Now I brought a E72. This is freezing frequently. I have tried all these reset, hard soft, reformat, update software etc etc. No luck!

Finally I had given it to nokia service centre and they did software reinstalling. But the problem is still there! 

Nokia, Please help!!!!!!! Open your eyes and ears, solve the problems quickly / provide replacements or else you will be loosing market soon. We are so much depending on your phones and get mad with freezing phones!

If your phone still freezes after a hard reset, after reformatting the memory card, after reloading the latest firmware, and without restoring any saved data (this is very important), then you need to consider the possibility that your phone has hardware damage, and only a replacement will fix the problem.  If your E72 is still under warranty, I would press Nokia for a new phone.

If do not restore my data, what about my contacts, notes etc. It is impossible to type in all these again!

Right, but you could keep the phone in a pristine state for 24 hours...or long enough to see if that affects the problem. Restore your backups immediately and you will never know.
