Hi,
yes I have updated my QuickOffice to version 6 but it took me 3 or 4 tries before I succeeded.

The usual way (Within QuickOffice and download directly to the phone). As I said it took me a few times.

Freebird's success has given me a bit of hope on this, but I've been trying for a few days now, probably more than 50 times, without any success...
I'll keep on trying though.

Hello, I had the same problem and could not resolve. Go directly to Quick Office's website - www.quickoffice.com, register an account (enter your IMEI number during the process) and then send an email support request explaining the problem.
Oddly enough, when I checked my Application Manager (as instructed by QuickOffice support), Quick Office was NOT showing as 'installed' even though the shortcut was in the 'Office' folder.
Anyway, within a few hours you should get an email back from the lovely QuickOffice support folks with a direct link to download an SIS version of the latest release.
Good luck.

The "normal" update doesn't work for me, either but I have managed to update without sending emails to support.
Here's how it's done:
Open Quickoffice
Select Options
Select Help - About Quickoffice
from there you get into the Quickoffice App store and you can download the app free of charge

Finally managed after about 20 tries.
I went to the web update not the Update interface through the application.
I clicked on the link for 'updates and upgrades'. Finally managed.
All the best to you all

Thank you sms7500,
Thanks to you and other great users in these discussion forums, I've slowly been getting my new E72 into working order. It's a shame so many of us are having to work so hard to do this, but at least we have this resource!
