E72: Why no FW 052.005 for many versions of the phone and does previous update matter?

Hello,

 

My E72 is still on 031 FW and I did not update to 051.018. Is that the reason why 052.005 is still not available for my version of the phone. Do I need to first move to 051 before I can get 052 FW?

You don't need V51 before V52, the phone (or nokia software updater) will always offer the latest version that's available for your product code.

Is your phone network branded or supplied? If so it's likely that your network has not approved any newer versions for use with their branded phones.

Its not network branded phone. Are there others who are still waiting for V52 FW on their Nokia E72 ?

I'm waiting too. Latest firmware for E72 in my country (Vietnam) is 031.023
