The Nokia handsets only come pregonfigured with a very small list of Certificate Authorities (CA's).
I don't know if my solution will help in your case, but it may be worth checking.
My solution was to manually import the root CA certificate for our particular CA, which is Comodo.
Basically, you export the CA certificate in DER format from your PC, copy it to your Nokia via USB connection, then on the Nokia, open the certificate and install it. Rather than write all the steps here, I have a small blog entry that outlines the steps in more detail (although it was written from memory). Blog is here: http://copeohs.net/blogs/creativepossibilities/def
Hope it helps.
