E72-Removing shortcut key (camera) from home screen.

I bought E72 two days ago...to be honest, it was worth waiting...

I just wanted to know if there is any way to remove the camera shortcut key from home screen? I want the top-right key to be associated with something else, other than camera.

Thanks in advance

Re: E72-Removing shortcut key (camera) from home screen.

If I understand correctly you are wanting to change the top right hand soft key's function in the homescreen? You can change the key as follows:

Go to Menu, tools, settings, general, personalisation, standbye mode, shortcuts, right selection key

Once selected it will give you a list of applications to choose from that you want to associate with that key. :smileyhappy:

Re: E72-Removing shortcut key (camera) from home screen.

I have just got an E72 but struggling to change the key shortcuts which I could do on my E71 but does not seem to feature as on option on the E72. I've got used to the changes that I made on my E71 and find the operators choice of right key selection annoying!

Thanks in anticipation!

Re: E72-Removing shortcut key (camera) from home screen.

On E72

Menu>ctrl panel>settings>general>personalization>standby mode>key short cuts> right menu selection  Next you can choose application or a book mark.

That's it!
