Hello All,

I saw notification area settings while I was surfing via menus when I bought the phone newly. Then I couldn't find it again. I want to put e-mail notificatons into the notification area like missing calls and incoming messages. I remember there was a settings like that.

From Home screen go to Menu > Ctrl Panel > Modes > Home Screen Applications

There is no notification area setting there

That is where you manage which notications you want on the home screen.

Is there any e-mail notification alert for notification area on E72? Do I remember wrong?

Menu > Email, then Settings > Global Settings > Download notifications

Or in Nokia Messaging general settings, switch Download notifications on.

This setting is already on. But I want to see the e-mail notifications on notification area like incoming sms alert or missed calls like this. You can see 3 alerts (missed calls, incoming messages, incoming voice messages) at the bottom of the screen.  Can we add e-mail alert to there also?

It seems there is 1 more alert space at the bottom left of the screen. As I remember, there was a settings like that. But I could not find it again
