quite simple issue, my E72's keypad is acting very weird. For example, pressing the up key does two things: it moves the selection/whatever up, and at the same time acts as the "select" button. So if I go to the main menu and press up, it goes up on the menu items and selects immediately it. Also, some of the keys act as several buttons. A-key types "adgj", Z types "zcbm" on text fields, I acts as "select" button as well, Ö and K button acts as cancel (meaning I can't use them in text messages at all, it will quit the text message app). This makes the phone rather unusable for texting etc. as obviously I can't use K button at all, and typing A or Z I always have to delete extra 3 keys...it doesn't seem like it's hardware problem, but software instead...

Definitely hardware! It sounds like the keypad is out of alignment.

Had the same problem with my first E72, the replacement under warranty was perfect.
