I have Chat (or Nokia Messenger for IM) version 2.0.10 installed on my E72. I used to be able to use it for Gtalk and MSN chatting. 

But now I can not log in anymore. I even tried the ovi chat and i got the same problem. It says "Authorization failed" with a NOKIA banner on top. I wonder if it is the problem of NOKIA server or just my phone? 

Anyone has similar problem?

I think there is a new version available, plz download that..

For me, i can use it fine. I can log in to gtalk, yahoo & ovi but not windows live msngr.

So only 3 out of 4 are working. somehow it doesn't accept my login-id & pswd for windows live messenger. but a standalone windows live msngr on my e72 accepts it. so there is an app failure for nokia.

I downloaded the 2.0.18 from http://messaging.nokia.com and it still has the same problem.

And why the hell the ovi store has 2.0.10 but nokia messaging has 2.0.18??

HEY...

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM... I WAS USING IT AND OOPS IT STOPPED WORKING .. I CAN SWITCH BETWEEN COMMUNITY.. CAN NOT FIND GTALK, YAHOO AND WINDOWS MESSENGER... I TRIED TO UNISTALL AND INSTALL AGAIN... BUT IT DOESNT WORK...

ANY SUGGEATION PLEASE?!!!!

My windows live account was working a few days ago, and today it just disappeared.........

I can't even re-add the account because the option to sign up for different account also disappeared. Now there's only Ovi account that I can sign in since that's the only account left in the program.

same here!!! all the services disappeared except for OVI messenger  i loved this application! i really liked the Live Messenger!! how to get them back??

my phone doesnt even have nokia chat. i tot it came preinstalled. couldn't download from net settings either.. perhaps, a server problem.

guys i havent used this software much but its a nokia product available from the Ovi store and is called IM for Nokia:chat on the go

Hello am sorry, seems i gave you the link to a software you already have. i thought you had problems with the built-in IM and were looking for an alternative. I dont have a fix for the Nokia Chat.

Hi Friends

Today i tried to install nokia chat it asked me to update the service and i said yes, thereafter it asked for access point and i got all the four IM's.

I hope the problem was into the nokia messaging ( client delivery server) and now its being rectified. I tried it over my Nokia e72 and now i am online on all 4 IM's.

I have the same probelem few dags ago i used Im yahoo and hotmail.

after updating chat program the service stopd and i can not intering the Im any more.

Lot's of ppl seem to be experiencing that problem. Try a stand-alone Windows IM - the original - here: http://symbianv3.com/new-windows-live-messenger-perfect/ Think I may have recommend this app too often.

Ovi chat application is not working on my Nokia n98 anymore . I installed the new Ovi contacts on my n8 cause no available one for Nokia s60. And when i wanted to launch it after installation it says 'not available ' i have this application since more than month and i can not use it.what is the hell is going with Nokia And Ovi +yahoo . Can anyone help
