After I updated my phone's firmware to version 051.018, font used for the clock on the bottom of the screen was reduced, and it's now a bit difficult to read. Any way to change it back to its original size? Thanks.

Yeah, I noticed that too. The bottom clock in the "status" portion suddenly had difficult to read small fonts.

Prior to updating (firmware 031.023), the time was easily readable..

After updating, it uses small hard-to-read fonts.

 

I wonder if there's some way to fix it.

I have the same problem too, thought it was just me that couldnt work it out.  It is quite annoying especially when half asleep in the morning checking the time.  Ange

This problem has been solved in firmware 054.005. If you upgrade the firmware, the clock will return to normal readable size.
