E72 - Battery life problem

Have an E72 for 2 weeks now and I am getting no more than 1 day from the battery which is unusual as I have been an E71 user for a long time with great battery performance.

Apart from possible faulty battery can anyone suggest some ways to try to improve the battery performance.  I have turned off the Bluetooth.

Any suggestions welcome.

Click here for tips on how you can extend battery life.

It also takes around 5-10 charge cycles before the battery achieves optimum performance.

Re: E72 - Battery life problem

Many thanks Cjlim.  Didn't realise that it took a few recharge cycles to get battery to max potential.  Any idea how I turn off GPS and 3G.

3G and GPS won't be used unless you use something to activate them and then they turn off when you stop - 3G may be connected a lot of the time if using push email like Nokia Messaging (on automatic) or IM apps, and GPS the same unless you are using any maps application - Nokia or Google, or any other positioning software.

Do you stil want to turn them off?

You can check if there are any open 3G connections anytime in Menu > Ctrl Panel > Connectivity > Connection Manager > Active data connections
