I have a couple questions about my e71x.

I was testing the alarm to see if I would be able to be woke up by it and I noticed the volume is ascending and I cant find anywhere to change that.  Is that possible?  My ringer for the phone isnt ascending, so it doesnt use the same setting as the ringer.

Also, is there anyway to get the current date on the home screen?  When I was playing around with my alarm settings, it showed it up at the top of the screen where it normally displays the profile name that it is current set on.  When I changed profiles, it went away.  I didnt do anything to get it there, but I would like to set it like that.  Is there some way to do this?

you can not change the alarm ringer. use an 3rd-party-sw like *******
The date in homescreen is only shown in the profile general. if u change the profile in another profile (for exmp silent) the profilename will be shown instead of the date.
