E71 doesn't come up with contact suggestions

For some reason no contact suggestions pops up when I start spelling a contacts name while in the "desktop". Usually a list pops up and narrows down as I punch in the full name, eventually down to one name.

 

How do I turn on this feature again? I am using a E71

Its in Tools/settings/Phone/Call/. Right at the bottom is Contact search.
