i bought E71 phone, normally the camera sound we can off it in setting there but this one there is no , i went back to the shop... they dont know how to solve this also... hope someone here can provide me a way to solve it... thank you~!!

Camera sound cannot be switched off in some firmwares (depending on country/area I think) due to legal restraints. However there is a little application called Disable Camera Sound (or something similar) that does just that, disable the camera sound (for non-hacked phones).

Sign by Your certificate then install. After restart phone, You can in profile turn off camera sound by changing "warning tone" to OFF.

I USED WITH NEW SOFT 400.21.013 AND SHOULD WORK WITH ANY SOFT

Go to Settings -> Profiles -> select the desired profile and "Personalize" -> switch "Warning tones" to off. This should disable the camera shutter sound for that profile (eg: General, Meeting, etc).

However, you will loose all warning tones, including the warning tone for "low battery".

If your phone does not allow the camera shutter sound to be turned off due to legal reasons, this might not work.
