E71 calender snooze function

Hello,

I have a E71 and I sync the calander with Outlook.

I get "reminders" for appontments, which is fine. ( ou can set those to be reminded for example 15 min before a meeting starts)

the annoying part is that once a "reminder" is sounding, it just keeps on beeping / sounding till you actually switch it of. Is it possible to set the "reminder" sound in such a way you get "1 beep" as a reminder and that is it ?

( very similar you can set your phone to give 1 beep when a new SMS has arrived ... and after that 1 beep it always stops.)

Thanks

Francois

Re: E71 calender snooze function

Hello Forum,

I have a similar problem as Francois.

Outlook can snooze a meeting for eg. 15 min, 30 min, 1 day, 5 min before it starts, etc, etc.

However, the E71 can only snooze a meeting, reminder, alarm (etc) for 5 min.

Examle: I am in my car driving.

A reminder sounds.

I have the following options:

a) Snooze it every 5 min until I can follow it up or write it down!

b) "Stop" it, and not be reminder again and forget about it before I can take care of it!

Nolkia should actually take care of this issue as it disqualifies their E71 as a business tool.

Hope some one can help.

(Will a software upgrade help?)

Jan

Re: E71 calender snooze function

I have exactly the same issue, and found quite some threads about this problem. Hope Nokia will reply with a solution to this.
