Re: E71 and iSync

To start syncing you need to install E71 plugin in your mac which is available at http://europe.nokia.com/A4299040
To work on iPhoto and iTunes you need a different program called Nokia multimedia Transfer.
Download from here http://europe.nokia.com/A4423134

Re: Misleading information by Nokia on the E71 and iSync

I´m trying to do this with. I had problems with iSync initially. The steps I have taken were:

Download official Nokia Plug in from Nokia for the E51 and the E71. They automatically appear in the library/PhonePlugins directory.

The phone and the macbook connect after this. And the phone is now receiving contacts. Now lets see if they are in correct format and if iCal loads...

Re: Misleading information by Nokia on the E71 and iSync

The only problem is still having is when I want to transfer the Birthday Calendar to the E71 iSync transfers the birthdays as memos instead of anniversaries.

I see this happens because in iCal birthdays are recorded as all-day events rather than being tagged as anniversaries. Must be something that must be requested to Apple to fix.

Yet the iSync plug in has the modifications to change them to anniversaries, it doesn't happen on the mobile and get recorded as memos.

Cheers,

Dario
