Hi,
I have been using my Nokia E71 from 3 network for 3 months without any problem, my phone connects to Wireless network at my home and browse in internet will full speed.
I have been installing some software, after which problem started, my phone search for wireless network and says "No WLAN Network found".
I tired soft reset, hard reset and even I resintalled phone software through Nokia software update but still this problem not resolved.
If anyone faced this same problem and found solution, can you please share the procedure to fix this WLAN network problem in this topic.
Thanks,
Maha

Hi
I am too facing the same problem with my E71 saying wlan network not found and after repeatedly trying it shows the Wlan network sometimes and prompts for pre shared key . I have entered the preshared key correctly several times but it says invalid and does not connect.
Did u get the work around for your problem Maha , please update me if you did.

I too get a similar problem.
It was OK up until recently, at home. But for some strange reason - when I connect to the internet via my access point, it sometimes doesn't find it, or says no WLAN found, even though the router is in the room directly upstairs.
However the iPod Touch I have also gets a similar problem, and a weak signal in some places, the router was on top of my Aluminum Desktop PC so I thought it could be that, having moved it, it made no difference.
I have a NETGEAR DGN2000 wireless draft-N modem/router. I think it could be the "Draft-N" that could be causing the problem. Although I have not fully ruled out the handset, and it could be the latest firmware. For me I have not bottomed this out, either to the phone or router, but am inclined to think its more the router.
If yours is a draft-N router it might be worth switching it to 802.11b/g mode only and try that. I shall try when my new E72 arrives next week ![]()

You make us jealous, Shunts.
Sometimes there are issue with multiple devices (ipod + E72) that use the same connection.

The NETGEAR DGN2000 allows for 4 SSIDs I have the iPod and my current E71 (but E72 when it comes
) on different SSIDs as I was getting a different problem with the iPod and my Airport Express Airtunes.

Yes, but it has to be narrowed down to 1 AP.
